Has anyone else encountered this problem?

 

I was searching information on ET speedometer errors and found this old thread. I recently purchased a 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring (still under warrarnty). I have also noticed that I am traveling 2-3 mph less than what the speedo says when at highway speeds. Has there been a solution from Hyundai in the preceeding years, can I take it to a dealership and have it corrected under my warranty?

Got a Hyundai Trajet Ciel 2002 and have a problem with the Speedo and Odometer which do not work at all. Was thinking it would be the Speed Sensor but cannot find one. I wondered if anyone could tell me where it is as the only sensor I see on the Trans is the Crankshaft Sensor. I am thinking there is not a speed sensor and it works from the ABS Sensor. Could someone point me in the right direction please. Its the 2.0l 16v Petrol Model Manual.
