Exclamation Water in the trunk in the spare compartiment

Hello guys!
I just purchased a Touring GLS (last week).
Yesterday I was cleaning the rear windows since my dealer gave me a car with durty glass and I took the chance to sort the trunk with cable booster and so I opened the spire tire place, I saw water in the foam and when I removed the tools I noticed 1 inch of water, the spare was in the water.
Did someone has already have this?
This morning I will call my dealer, this is very very strange and not quite interesting, with the winter coming I open this is just a one time...
Cheers
Stef

Hello Rontier
I am not sure that the water comes with the seal because there are no trace of water in the trunk, just with the spare tire, this is weird, maybe one of the 2 black silicon cap is not 100% sealed.
I called the dealer, I am sure they will find from where the water is coming....well they have to, the car is just 200kms and I will receive very soon the Huyndai survey...
The frint window have a light tint.
Cheers

sounds like you have a good dealer to work with! That is weird that the water is in the trunk.
& about the Huyndai survey?? my wife was called & did the survey by phone.
The Dealer told us that when we get the survey , To give all the questions a-
A+ reating or the sales lady would be in big trouble with the boss, !
She was very nice & did everything to make the deal a liveable one.
& at 300 miles we had not had the time to give a full rateing on the car.

my problem is the dealer said yes there is no tint on the 2010's but if I would
have got an 2011 it would be an opeation that I could add at a cost to me! It's just sad that they (Huyndai) would leave off the tint on this one Model?
& summer day here in TX are very hot, even now we have to put a towel over our
selfs to cut down the heat from the no tinted windshield,, & makes the car not a fun
Drive! Just hury up & get there before we burn up..

& wish I'd got an diffrent car!!
regards
Ron

Honestly for now I am not impress by the dealer.
I hope they will be able to solve the water in the spare tire compartiment.
I will wait to fill the survey to see if the issue is fixed.
When I took the car last week the sell told me to put A+ on the 3 questions... I did not, what is the purpose of doing a survey if we are not allowed to say the true?
I won't lie for them.
I will keep you posted on my water problem.
Cheers!

It seems that the water is coming from:
1) the ligth
2) the bolt that secure the plastic around the spire tire
