Default 2004 Elantra antenna replacement

I want to replace the manual antenna in my wifes car with an electric one I recently got; how do I connect power to the new one? There is a connection fairly close but it's not long enough to reach when the antenna is in place. Can you get an extension lead for joining them?

Longer antenna lead in wires are available, but not sure where you can obtain one.
Did this antenna come with any instructions for installation?
The installation should consider a fused power source through a switch to the antenna motor. Does it, or, is it relying on the radio on/off switch which by itself is not made to handle a power requirement like an antenna motor.

Thanks, Hanky, I'll have to check that power source; I was hoping to use the lead to the boot light but I need to check the switch mechanism for as it lights when you open the boot. I think I'll need to run a separate line but haven't worked out how to yet. Thanks for your reply.

If you require any further assistance, should be able to provide a suggestion or two to make the job a little easier and prevent any problems up the road.
