Default Both low beams not working on 2011 Sonata

HI All,
Last week, both low beam headlights on my 2011 Sonata suddenly quit working at the same time. Both high beams work fine. I found it odd both headlight bulbs went out at the same time. Just for a test, I replaced the bulb on the driver side and found that both low beam still broke. Posts on internet recommended checking the headlight fuse or relay. Unless I missed it, I don't believe there is fuse for the low beam headlight and I could not find any low beam headlight relay either. Last night, both low beam headlights worked again. Does anyone have similar problem with their low beam headlights on 2011 Sonata or recommendation how to trouble shoot? It will be greatly appreciated if you would share your experience or would recommend how to solve this problem. \
Thanks. Al

First check for powers and grounds at the bulb socket
If either one is missing then bulbs won't light up.
The headlights are usually (on Hyundai) ground side switched.
Meaning there is power to the bulbs and grounding it completes the circuit to light up bulb

There definitely must have fuses for circuit for head lights .. safety issue.
Relays .. usually determined by current draw of load.
For headlight, yes there should be a relay.
Headlight fuse may be in dash fuse box
And relay is in engine bay fuse box.

I didn't see a fuse labeled light or headlight on the schematic diagrams or on the fuse cover ... both under the hood and underneath the dashboard.
Went to O'Reilly to try to buy a relay .. hoping that they had a drawing to show the location of a headlight relay. They couldn't find a headlight relay for 2011 Hyundai Sonata.
The low beam came back by itself led me to believe there was an electrical short somewhere. I would be on the road for a short trip. Will do more testing after my trip and report back.
If you have experienced this problem, a suggestion or have a solution, please share.
Thanks.

I use to own a 2001 Elantra
And never had any problems with the headlight
Auto parts stores rarely have electrical schematics much less part location diagrams.
Some might have Identifix. Doesn't hurt to ask.

I think they call the fuse box EMS or electrical management system
The left and right fuses are part of a bigger system.
Fuse labelled B+ 2 and B+ 4, 50 amps and 60 amps
And the relays are part of the BCM or body control module
Newer tech ... sucks.

But, would do the check for power and ground at the bulb sockets.
Good luck

I am not positive exactly what your vehicle has, but some later vehicles have fuses for individual headlights and even hi and low beam fuses. If you you can't find any power at the socket, you might want to look more carefully at the fuse panels.
In some owner's manuals there is usually a section with the fuse and relay panel(s) and what they protect and control..
