Hi guys.. I need Help... My dad who is 71 yr old leased a brand new 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL with 100 miles on it. After the 3 year lease ended we decided to purchase the car via financing. The car currently has 37,000 miles on it. 2 weeks ago we took it to a local mechanic who has been in service for 30 yrs for a break+rotor change. When the mechanic took the tires off the car out he was blown away!. The frame that holds the tires together was completely orange. It's covered with rust. The mechanic said this car wont last much longer and he did not advice it we drive it for very long. The rotors on the car were completely black. The mechanic said the breakpads did not move and were mounted incorrectly from factory. I wish I could show you a picture of the wheel frame but for now I'll show you the original rotors after 37k miles on them. I will upload a pic of one of the rotors here. All 4 were identical.... I just contacted a Local dealer to see what my options are or what I should do next. This is our first "New" car that we owned. The car was driven by a 71 yr old senior citizen.. It's in pristine condition on the outside, but behind the tires.. that's a whole other mess.
