My 2006 Getz will not start. It cranks but will not start up. The dashboard lights do come on, but the fuel light stays on even though it has a full tank of fuel. Some guys recommended I check the crankshaft sensor, I'm not sure where it's located...Anybody ideas?

 

hi am new too the getz but while i was searching the net to see what possible problems they may before buying i came across the problem you are describing.

someone else on another forum had this problem would crank and not start and it was fixed. they said it was a sensor or sending unit attached to the starter. have no idea if this helps but might be worth checking out .. sorry i cant remember where i read this..
