Hi everyone - new member here and hoping you can give me some advice and help.

I have a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe LTD with the rear entertainment system. There is an auxiliary audio input above the DVD player and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to hook up my Iphone / Ipod to the stereo. I plug in the red white and yellow jacks and it keeps yelling at me saying no disc even when I select the input button.

Anyone have any ideas? I am seriously frustrated.

Those jacks are not for an iPod/iPhone. They are to connect a game console like X-Box to the DVD to play video games on the screen.

Have you read the owners manual?

 

Yes - I have read the owners manual but I was just giving it a shot - they have the adapter for the iPod that has the 3 plug ins that fit into the aux port - so it was basically a shot in the dark
