2017 SF Sport 2.4
Greetings. I recently purchased a one owner, babied 2017 Santa Fe Sport, 2.4l, with 93000 kilometers on the clock. I did a lot of research on the car, and somehow missed the numerous engine problems. The car is in very good condition. Interior is as new, a couple of scratches outside, but very good. Recalls have been dealt with. Now it is back at the dealer, because they failed to fix an O2 light before I took possession, and the light came back on after I took the car home. Long story short, now they say the cat is clogged. This is concerning that a car with those few miles on it could have a clogged cat already. I'm concerned about the oil consumption being a cause of this situation. This is all pre sale, so I will not pay for this stuff, and better not get a bill. I don't know what percentage of these vehicles have engine troubles. Are there any good ones out there? When you get reading online, you can soon start to believe that every one made is a lemon. Certainly has me concerned. When I researched consumer reviews, the overwhelming majority of owners were very positive about the car. Now, I'm not so sure. Thanks.
