Default Automatic Transmission Filter

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find the transmission code tag/stamp on my 2004 Santa Fe 2wd with a 2.7 V6? I think I should replace the filter but I heard different things. One of them was if it does not have a 'spin-on' (mine does not), then it can only be replaced by taking the transmission apart. In other works, just change the fluid.
I also heard that if it has a transmission pan, then there is a filter there and can be replaced. My Santa Fe does have a pan sitting vertically towards the front.

If I know the transmission code, I might be able to find out if the filter is replaceable or not.

Thanks in advance

The filter is deep inside the trans and not serviceable That's why regular fluid changes are important.
