Default Considering Santa Fe 2017 - Tow Hitch Question

Hi all
We may be buying a Santa Fe SE Ultimate 2017 on lease. I have read that this model may have a "towing prep package" as standard although would like details on what that means? Cooling system, wiring harness to bumper, etc all included, just need hitch and external connections?

Has anyone installed a third party hitch/tow harness on the current model Santa Fes? The dealer wants $750 to install factory version but don't know yet what that includes.

Curt makes a class III hitch which hides behind the bumper hatch and still leaves the spare tire accessible.

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!

**Update**
Looks like this is a hitch/wiring harness bundle for the Santa Fe SE Ultimate without factory tow prep:

Widmark,

I have a 2017 LWB SE Ultimate and purchased the Curt Class III hitch and wiring kit from Etrailer.com. They have on their website a video showing the installation of the hitch and connector kit. Connector kit is plug & play (no wire splicing) to exiting factory connector mounted on the inside of rear driver side corner bumper. section (see video). Its a bolt on installation (no drilling) to existing holes in the frame. It's a DIY install if you are some what handy. Took me @1-1/2 hours to do it by myself after watching the videos. Curt hitch looks really nice and still allows you to install the bumper cover plate when not using the hitch. Etrailer provides great pricing and support, this is the 2nd hitch/connector kit I've bought from them.

I just put a Curt hitch on our new used 2017 Santa Fe Limited Ultimate. I put in the trailer wiring and proportional brake controller today and routed the wire through the firewall via the wire bundle grommet to the left of the steering column. It wsn't easy. The damn airbox cover over the air filter wouldn't come off, it would have made it a lot easier. Will be finishing it tomorrow.
