Default Headlights burn out on 2006 Santa Fe

I have replaced the high beam and low beams lamps (both sides) on my 2006 Santa Fe more times than I can recall since purchasing the vehicle. It seems that they last on average 10,000 miles and burn out. I don't touch the lamp (halogen) with my fingers, so I know it's not a hand oil problem. I've tried different makes of lamps as well, to no avail. Anyone else have the same problem?

What type of bulbs are you using? Higher powered bulbs will have a shorter life. Do you drive on rough roads?

Thanks. I'll check on the exact model numbers. They've typically been purchased at NAPA Auto and were their comparable replacement bulbs (halogen).

The roads I travel are virtually all smooth suburban roads or highways. No off- or on-road bumps to speak of.
