My Rear End Squeaks!
First off....The front has struts and the rear has shocks.....CORRECT???
In 2021 I supposedly had the struts in the front and rear replaced.......The price for the rear is much less than the front and I think they may have just messed up the invoice?
ANYWAY if I open the rear gate and shift the car from left to right I can duplicate the problem.
Any suggestions? It's a high pitched squeak if that helps!
Thanks for any help!

Vehicle , pretty sure has struts front and rear. You didn't say what year.
Inside the coil spring is where the shocks are located.
There are strut links that maintain the axle in place connecting the axle to the vehicle body. Sometimes the rubber bushings in the strut links that when dry may produce a squeak as the rear shifts up or down. Most times a little rubber lubricant will get rid of the squeak.

You might try NAPA, Advance, O"Reillys.
I did not suggest Silicone spray because the last time I used that to spray on door weatherstripping , when it dried I heard rattles that drove me nuts and it was coming from the weatherstripping. Don't use belt dressing either.

:YOU ARE EXACTLY RIGHT! A gut at my repair place got under and I moved the car and then he found it!
It appears that when U HAUL put in my tow hitch they put it partially over the spare and let the air out so they put the spare back!
