No picture on DVD

No picture on DVD
Recently bought an 08 Limited with the rear seat entertainment package, and am unable to get any video on the screen when playing a DVD. Sound plays fine, and the menu items, etc. appear on the screen. Just no picture from the DVD itself.
Other than turning on the power and inserting a DVD, is there anything else I should be doing to get the video to display?
