Default power window

Im a new member. I am working on a 2005 Santa Fe for a neighbor lady to try and save her some money. Im not charging her. Here is problem. Using the window switch on passenger door, it will roll window down but will not roll the window up. I tried new motor and same thing so im sure its not motor. The main switch for this window on drivers door will not roll window up or down. Has anyone ever had this happen to them.

You might check the wiring in the driver's door hinge area .A broken wire there can prevent full operation. You might have to give them a little tug and if it is not secure you will be able to feel it stretch because it is broken internally.
