pulling to the left
Got a 2005 2.0 litre CDX Santa Fe which has been pulling to the left. There is evidence of a small amount of wear on the inside edge of the offside front tyre and the dealer suggested that both the wear and pulling may be due to tracking.I've had it tracked and it doesn't seem to have made any difference-it still pulls to the left.Dealer now suggests 4 wheel alignment may be required, whatever that is and it is chargeable !
Any body got any ideas ?

RE: pulling to the left
Hi Richie
Had a puncture on thedrivers side ofmy very low milageSanta Fe crtd cdx which was fitted with Khumo tyres,
the tyre was changed like for like, immediately it pulled badlyto the offside every time you hit the loud pedal, took it back to the tyre sales they checked the tyre and stated that there was a slight difference with the tyre loading figures, theyphoned specialistswho stated that the tyre was suitable for the vehicle and in any casethey had scoured the country [UK] for one and they said thatthe type they had fitted was all that was available, I transferred the tyre to the back this cured the problem straight away.
I got in touch with hyundai headquarters and they confirmed that the tyre was suitable. well I can tell you that it is not, it's bloody dangerous!!it is now used as a spare and will be paired up with another of the same loading when I nextchange my tyres, told my Hyundai mechanic who said he'll keep it in mind if he gets any cars pulling over!!
Gazza!!!
