Default Roof antenna removal and replacement

Hey guys,
I have a 2010 Santa Fe and I need to remove the antenna on my roof and replace it with a new one since the other snapped off, but I'm not sure where to start. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Replacement

1. Remove the rear roof trim.

2. Disconnect the antenna connectors (2EA) to the feeder cable connectors.
(A : AM/FM, B : XM)

3. Disconnect the 1P power connector from the roof antenna.

4. Remove the SDARS roof antenna from the roof panel hole after loosening a nut.

5. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Default Headliner removal??

To replace the roof antenna do I have to completely remove the headliner or can I just remove the rear clips and drop the back of the headliner enough to access the antenna?
Don't want to start the project until I know how deep I have to go.
Thanks

Never tried it so I don't know. My guess you probably could just drop the rear part but you would have to be careful not to damage the headliner.
