spare wheel stolen

Just found out the spare wheel has been stolen from my 151 Santa fe,but the thing that really bugs me is that I had the genuine Hyundai security device fitted to mine to prevent the wheel from being stolen ,not happy.

Well now a days thieves are very clever, they can even remove all 4 wheels with out setting the alarm on. Welcome to reality.

I have also just found my Santa Fe (2013) spare has been nicked-is the Hyundai security device not worth £170 plus vat then?
Any other suggestions as how to secure it?
