Default Tips or tricks for more power?

Anything I can do or buy to get some extra power out of our 2.7 awd?

Why? Planning on racing Camaros? It's a AWD CUV with over 100k miles. You don't need to add more stress to it. Short of a performance rebuilt or adding a blower or nitrous or turbos, there isn't much that can be done that will make any noticeable difference. The Delta isn't the most performance-oriented engine.

LOL no, but I would like for it to get out of its own way. Right now she has to turn the A/C off when she is getting ready to pull out into a main road.

It's like its bogging down pretty bad lately. So just wondering of there was anything I can do to help it.

I read somewhere that a worn timing belt, and or a crankshaft sensor going out can lead to loss of power.

Just finishing up 120K mile service on the wife's 2003 2.7l. It felt more sluggish than I remember.

It's getting new timing belt kit (water pump, Idlers, tensioner, T-Belt) new T-stat (gasket leak) valve cover gasket (oil leak), crank shaft sensor, O2 sensors (pre-cat).

6 months ago it got new NGK wires and NGK iridium plugs. This solved a cyl 3 misfire code.

I'll let you know if it wakes it up any.

Thanks Cmobile....

Her car needs a complete tune up and everything checked. Nothings been changed since the 60k service. She doesn't belive in fixing things thay aren't broke. So all she wants me to do is oil changes. I've never even changed the air filter(cleaned it though) or pcv. She doesn't want to spend the money on it.

Told you I'd let you know if the 120k maintenance woke her up any,

After getting new TB, water pump, idlers, tensioner, T-Stat, radiator hoses, the Fe runs the same, albeit my peace of mind is higher.

crankshaft sensor not changed, but looks good with no frayed/cracked wire jacketing.

The Fe does get out of its own way, but at a non-hurried pace

The intake hose, the one from the box to the fender well, had a black vinyl cover had cracked and all but fell off over the years. I removed the balance of the vinyl cover then wrapped the hose with reflective tape. I know this won't make even a 1° difference in incoming air, but the hose is porous, so this was more for protecting it from water than anything else.
