Question Tire Recommendations Please?

Being an owner of a 2013 Santa Fe since it was new I am looking for a tire that affords a soft highway ride and delivers good tread life. My Santa Fe has 151,000 miles. I have had several Kuhmo's as replacements that did not provide decent tread life. The original set that came on the car gave me 76,000 miles. A second set lasted only 41,000. A third set would not balance and Kuhmo did replace them at no charge. That replacement set is about shot at 33,000 miles. These three sets were Crugens. Given the age of the car, I don't want to spend a large sum of money but my main concern aside from tread life is the ride and highway noise. As of now, I am considering another set of Kuhmo's (I don't know why though) I am looking at the Solus TA11. My service garage suggested the HP71 but the online stores indicate that tire is not for my vehicle. I don't understand why as the specs are the same. I live about 50 miles west of Knoxville, TN, and could travel to Nashville 120 miles away or Atlanta 300 miles away. We get some snow but for the most part that is not an issue, more rain than snow.

Thanks in advance

If you look on , www.Tire Rack.com.
You can obtain a lot of info as to what is available to run on your vehicle.

Keep in mind , a low profile tire is great for cornering , but provide a ride that leaves a lot to be desired.

A tire with a higher side wall provides a softer ride , but you need to make sure it will not interfere with contacting parts of the vehicle when turning to the extreme or not have enough room for it on the rear.

For the tires I will only choose Hyundai they own tires, just for security reasons, because I'm not sure if the tires don't match, there will be an accident while driving

Your concerns are well founded and respected,
A competent tire shop can provide addl info for you to consider.

They would know if changing any thing would compromise safety, since they would be responsible. The vehicle is certified with certain equipment and altering the specs, can sometimes shift responsibility even though it is safe to do.
