Default tranny lines

good morning, new to Santa fe’s. Question: putting together a 2010 Santa Fe, V-6, FWD, 6 speed auto that sustained frontend damage. I need to know location of return cooler line on the tranny (left or right) and where that line attaches on radiator (top or bottom)? Also,, would it be possible to install an inline filter on the return line? Thank you very much for any info offered!

Without the exact diagram of where the lines go, what you might try,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Trans fluid to full mark, ,lines off trans , have someone VERY briefly start the engine and you watch for where the fluid gets pumped out. That would be the Higher pressure fitting , naturally the other would be the return. If they are on opposite sides of the trans you run the lines the shortest distance to make the connection.

You could always check with a dealership service dept, they have all that info. The old lines would help to make the right decision.
You could install an in line filter, but keep in mind those pressures can get over 70 psi and flared fittings would be required. So a flaring tool would be required..
You would most likely need that tool to make the connections at the trans. (Metric fittings)).
If you can get the lines already made up from a dealership there would be no problem.
