Just got an '08 Sonata Limited (4-cyl) and have noticed an annoying, though apparently benign, clicking when I press the brake pedal. Does it one click per brake press. Seems like a switch or relay?? Anybody have this issue? Any words of wisdom?

 

Have an assistant press on the brake pedal while you walk around the car and try to determine the location of the "click".

 

There is an electric solenoid that keeps you from shifting out of park unless your foot is on the brake.... I think that's what you are hearing.
