1999 Sonata Transmission Possible repair?
I recently bought a 1999 Sonata V6, and a bast_rd mechanic told me it was a good deal, just to get the job of repairing it.
The transmission feels like if the de-accelerating belt (if this transmission has any) were loosen, so the only problem it has is the initial "Direct" engaging shakes the whole car.
Whether this car has that belt my mechanic brother told me the cars had a few years ago or not, the motor is spinning too fast when the "D" is engaged.
After that, the car drives fine.
The son of a Beach of the mechanic didn't tell me so I buy it, and now that the motor mounts replacing didn't work, I got the bad news. Now that I see it, it obvious the motor mounts were broken after YEARS of repeated transmission strikes.
The good news is the motor mounts didn't break in one month, so the new ones will last a few before I can afford the transmission repair.
My question is: Is there a chance the repair is kind of easy with some sort of bolt-tunning?
If not, what are the possible causes?

So you are saying when the car is in park or neutral, the motor RPMs are too high, and when you shift into "D" it slams the motor and now the motor mounts are bad? So it idles too high? When it's cold, or also when it's hot?
