2000 GLS hard to start after gas fill up
Hey guys, My sister has a automatic 2000 Hyundai Sonata GLS, and for the past 2-3 months every time she fills it up with gas, it will turn over for about 10-15 seconds before starting, and then when it starts it will sputter out and die unless the throttle is being pressed. But other than that it starts and runs fine every other day. any ideas? thanks for the input!

DESCRIPTION:
A 1999-2000 Sonata, may experience a crank no start, hard starting after filling with fuel, or erratic idle speeds. One possible cause for this condition may be a mechanically stuck open canister purge valve (P/N 39460-38650).
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
If one of the above conditions exists, inspect the canister purge valve and intake system for vacuum leaks.
Remove the canister purge valve (see photo below) and blow through the valve. No air should pass through the valve when it is removed from the vehicle.
The canister purge valve is located near the right side and below the intake surge tank.
