hey again, sorry to bring this thread back, but i have the part and have to install it, but I'm not entirely sure where the part is located... any help would be appreciated

The canister purge valve is located near the right side and below the intake surge tank.

Hard to say. That looks correct but I can't say it is for sure just based on those pics. Does it match the one you purchased?

no it looks a lot more circular than the one i purchased, and it has 1 hose coming out the bottom and then 1 on the top next to an electrical connector, the one i bought looks like the pic you showed me

and one of the hoses leads to the throttle body

It's supposed to be at the end of the intake, close to the passenger side strut tower. Your pictures look like it's behind the intake between the intake and firewall.

Were is the canister purge valve on 00 sonata cause that pix looks a lil like my car but obvious deferences and would you know were the vapor vent valve is

Purge Control Solenoid Valve (PCSV) sticking open. Replace it.
DESCRIPTION: A 1999-2000 Sonata, may experience a crank no start, hard starting after filling with fuel, or erratic idle speeds.
