Default 2003 Hyundai Sonata Fog Light HID Conversion

I recently bought a HID kit for my fogs (9006). But the problem is, as soon as i plugged them in and attempted to turn them on, I blew a fuse. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to get my Fogs working?

I have HIDs in my Lo's and my Hi's and they work just fine. But the Fogs are the problem....

I have a full HID kit from Xentec, (Ballast, Harness, Bulbs, Etc)

Help Anyone?

I'd contact the people at Xentec.

Re-check all your connections to make sure they are all tight and correct. You must have a short somewhere due to the installation of the kit if the fogs were working properly before. Otherwise, as stated, contact the seller as there may be a defect in the kit components.

I hooked up the fogs to my Lo-Beams, and they work just fine. Im pretty sure that its all hooked up correctly.

Is it possible that its just producing too much power, and the stock harness / other stuff, just cannot handle it?

I will attempt to contact Xentec, but I dont know if they will be able to help

If you are sure that all connections were made correctly including polarity then I guess you might want to consider getting a relay harness for the HID kit which will power it directly off the battery and use the factory wiring only to turn on and off.
