our check engine light came on in our 07 sonata. we had it checked at a local auto parts store and they said it was the o2 sensor, bank 2, 2nd sensor or down stream sensor. it's a v6. i looked the sensors up at the store and 3 of them are the same and i different. how do i know which one i need.

 

What was the check engine code?

 

all i know is the scan tool said bank 2, downstream sensor (after cat) so i need to know which side is bank 2, radiator or firewall. thanks, bk
