It either does or doesn't. I'm getting different anwers on this depending on which website I look at. The salesman insists it does not but that a donut would fit (and be able to screw in) to the area where the inflation (or whatever) kit is. Can anyone clarify this for sure? Unfortunately there are no Limited hybrids on the lot to look at.

We almost always like a little humor.
They don't need a donut because you call and while waiting for road service read the owner's manual .Isn't that why they put the manual in the vehicle.?
Who changes tires anymore?

Who changes tires still? Me....just had a flat about a month ago, and it felt great to be able to open my trunk and know I could take care of things by myself. Sorry, but calling for road service just doesn't quite cut it in my book - not for a flat tire at least. I won't buy a car that either doesn't already have a donut or else have room for one.

For the heck of it , ask friends if they know how to change a flat tire. It is simple to some folks , but most don't have any Idea how to do it.
At an adult class a few years back , I had a 60 year old woman that wanted to know how to change a flat tire. There is a safe procedure and once I showed her how easy it was to roll the replacement tire on the tire lug wrench to lift it onto the studs she was amazed and glad she asked.

Don't forget to keep a can of fix a flat in the space with the spare, they do go flat sometimes when you need them !

All very interesting thoughts and stories, but...CAN anybody tell me if this car does or does not have a spare tire? I'm thinking it doesn't, and if so - is there actually room for a donut AND, if there is, can it be attached in the same way that a traditional donut and jack fits (and is firmly held together in place) in the well? My salesman tells me yes - but I'm frankly doubtful. It doesn't make sense that it'd fit where the tire inflation kit is as well as an actual space designed to hold a tire and jack. I either need to see pictures of a limited hybrid wheel well OR actually see the space at a dealer. Otherwise, I can't buy this car.
