Things are looking up though.
Now lately she lets me check the oil in the Tucson, which by the way has delivered good performance and service . If they only did something to make the seats hold up, neither of us weigh that much to cause them to lose their initial comfort;. Heated seats are great in the winter !

Hanky and friends.......problem solved! Lord knows it took me long enough though. I checked fuses, relays, grounds. Paid money for writing diagrams....anybody want an ABS wiring diagram? I refused to drive the car because not only the ABS and ESC went out but the dash lights went out also, so I was relegated to driving the misses minivan in shame. Now for the bottom line to the problem. My cheap hand held scanner....which is a decent cheap scanner...kept stating the ESC switch was in error....C1503. Sadly, I blew it off but after literally weeks of sweating over wiring diagrams, I finally bellied up to the bar and bought a another ESC switch. I plugged it in and the ESC and ABS light went off and works properly with the switch and I don't know why but the now the dash lights work with the rheostat.. Thank goodness I'm out of the minivan and back into my beloved old Hyundai. This was a complicated and time consuming problem but ended up being a simple fix. Thanks my friends
