EGR valve issues

In October of last year, I noticed my car occasionally idling pretty high. once the check engine light came on, I got it on a code reader, and it threw a P2020 and a P240F code. Researched and figured out that the EGR valve needed replaced. very painstakingly got the part replaced, and haven't had any issues since. however, today I noticed the high idle came back, and it would also jump back and forth from high to low RPMs really quickly at idle. Almost as if I was tapping the gas 1-2 times/second. Called where I got it from and left a message to see if I have any sort of warranty through them, and have yet to hear back (Bought used). Does anybody know of a different, less expensive/difficult method of repair? thanks in advance.
