Default Engine oil usage

My 2006 Sonata with 125k miles has recently started consuming as much as two quarts of oil weekly with no evidence of leaks, engine does not smoke, no irregular noises and runs like a top. I am original owner and have always changed oil on schedule. Car specs: 4 cyl, 5 speed. Any help?

It may be blow-by. If your car has been well maintained as you say, the fix may be a simple as changing your PCV valve.

Also check your plugs. If they are oily (b/c of stuck PCV) you'll need a new set.
