Hey guys, new to the site and i have some questions. I have an 2007 sonata and i am looking to install HIDs. I saw there was a thread about this but it wasnt entirely helpful for me. I noticed there are two screws on the top of the headlight housings. Are these the only screws i need to worry about? do i simply take these out and pull the housings out? also where did you guys mount the ballasts?

any help would be great. and if you guys could point me towards a step by step install that would be beneficial too.

 

There are actuallly three bolts in each headlight. Two on top and one on the inboard side facing into the engine bay. Once these are removed the headlight unit can be pushed out through the front of the opening.

I mounted my passenger side ballast on top of the windshield washer tank with double sided tape and the drivers side ballast I zip-tied to some wire looms under the headlight.
