Default Xm antenna disconnect

Hello I hae 2010 Sonata Limited and need to know the most un-intrusive way of diconnecting the XM Antenna from sending any signals to the radio..
I know it would be easy to disconnect it from the shark fin but to access it I would have to rip the headliner and reclue it right? (unless someone confirms that it snaps back on..
Alternative anywhere In th car I can access the XM antenna connector?

Default xm wire

Is there a specific reason you need to stop the signal ? If you don't have a paying subsciption you won't be getting channels on the xm. Basically the only place with a connector you can get to is behind the radio on the right side. It has a snap connector. Metra makes the adapter for it starting with the 09 model in case you want to connect it to a standard antenna wire (for hd radio receiver) You can have it out in an hour. Pull up to release the shift lever grip, then remove all the plastic surrounding the shift, and radio. Then pull the radio foward. All the pieces can be pulled off by hand if you're careful/
