Default Programmin the key fob

Is there really a way I cna program my key fob on a 2006 Sonata?

We got this car used and the dealer had all the remotes mixed up ans we never could find one that worked, so we just got one and now we need to make it talk to the car. I've seen talk about touching a black and white wire together to put the car into a programing mode, but there is no wires like this anywhere.

I've tried quite a few methods found on the Internet and none of them worked. The only way to do it was at the dealer with a hand-held scan tool. I woudl suggest going to them and have them program the remotes for free since they screwed up the original remotes.

What I would do is go to a Hyundai dealer and get them to program them for you. If they charge you for that service, take the bill back to the Ford dealer and demand they reimburse you since it was their mistake.

1 more day and it'll be 3 months and now $202.63 later and we now have a working factory remote that works in hand. Thaakfully the selling dealer covered the cost.

Momma's going to be happy again. <--important
