Rear tail light
My 2006 Sonata will not light up when I hit the brake.I don't know if it's a fuse because the lights seem to work when I turn the car on and the center light lights with I hit the brake. Am I missing something? Thanks for any suggestions.

i've seen several 06-08 sonatas that have their left brake light not working. my fiance's left brake light has burned out several times in the last year. she took it to the dealer and they just say to change the bulb. is it a wiring problem? like i said i've notice several NF sonatas that have the same problem.
any suggestion will help, thanx...

NF sonatas are notorious for this. The brake light bulb is burnt out. Just replace them and it will be ok.
The most likley reason for this is the brake switch. Hyundais are also notrious for brake switches but the NF sonatas are usually just not adjusted properly.
There is a TSB for adusting the switch. All it says is that you should have roughly a nickel size gap between the switch and the pedal. The bulbs blow out because they are on more than they need to be.
