Angry sanota wont start

2005 sanota, my positive side battery terminal was corroded and the car wasn't starting. I put a new connection on and a new battery. now when I connect the cable to the positive side, all the lights, flashers, dashboard, etc.a[[ come on but when I turn the ignition theres nothing, wont turn over, doesn't make a sound. and the emergency flashers come on, they run for a minute and stop, when I open the car door they come back on again. any help here would be much appreciated. Victor

Sonata. Check the battery cables. Just replacing the connector isn't good enough. And make sure to check the negative cable as well.

Once you get your problem sorted out think about installing those green and red felt washers on the +/- battery posts. My experience is that they help reducing corrosion at the posts.
