Default Sonata Speedometer Issues

Hello,

I have a 1999 Sonata V6 that the speedometer doesn't work. It stays at 0 and occassionally will jump up to 5-10mph then back to 0.

I put my OBD II scanner on it and can view the MPH with that, and it works on the scanner.

I did some research and found threads that mention testing the Wheel Speed Sensor on the right passenger side. I did that and it OHM'd in range and the AC Volt test worked as well.

I couldn't find out how to test the Speed Sensors on the transmission so I found a pair at the junkyard and swapped them with no results.

I doubt the Vehicle Speed Sensor is the issue since I can read the MPH perfect in the scanner, just not on the speedometer. Is there anything else other than the Speedometer to check, and how do you test the speedometer?

Any instructions for removing it?
