Squeak in left rear 0f 2012 Sonata
I have a 2012 Sonata with 4200 miles. I noticed that traveling at a very low speed over uneven terrain I had a squeak or creak coming from the left rear of the car. I took the vehicle in to the dealer and he verified that the squeak was there and he did not know at the time what it could be.
I left the car and was supplied a loaner to use.
I was called the next day and was told my car was ready. I picked it up and the noise was about 80% gone, but it still is there.
The service performed was "Lubricate and retorque control arms".
I am afraid that the service performed was a temporary fix and the problem will re-occur.
Has anyone else had this problem or know what caused this problem. The car is new and I am disappointed that this could occur.

Thank you very much. I will take it to the dealer with this information.
I just visited the service department because of a squeak / creaking noise in the rear of my 2012 Sonata with 2020 miles. They told me it's plastic rubbing at the rear window and the inside roof cover would have to be pulled back and the problem corrected. A time consuming job so I'm to take it in next week - not happy with the thought of them removing the fabric.
Bulldog, i have the very same problem, same miles. This happens when the left rear shock unloads after going over a dip or bump. I showed the dealer the forum posts from turbosonata.com about the subframe guide bolts and they explained that they cannot modify the car without Hyundai's approval (?). They now claim that they contacted Hyundai and they know nothing about this issue. I don't think they asked Hyundai or anyone else about it and feel i'm getting the run around. Poor service and unacceptable for a new vehicle.
