I want to change the temperature mode from Fahrenheit to Celsius. According to the Owner's Manual I need to press "OFF" and "AUTO" buttons simultaneously for 3s. It is not working for me (nothing happens). Did anybody try to do it?

 

It does quite say "simultaneously" (although it does use that word in my 2008 manual). As you know, the manual says:

I would try depressing the AUTO button first and THEN depress the OFF button for 3 seconds or more while continuing to hold the AUTO button.

 

Thank you Ken. In the 2009 manual we have the instructions in two different places.The first is the one I wrote. The second one is yours andI had the same interpretation you had - but the result was the same. The French version of the manual (I live in Canada) has exactly the same instructions.

 

Hmmm, I am not sure what to say. I did go out to my 08 Limited and checked the procedure. With key on, I press and hold AUTO and then press OFF. The outside temp continues to be displayed and I hold both buttons until the scale switches over.

 

Hyundai changed the keys for 2009. The manuals are wrong. The correct keys are DUAL + MODE.
