I know this can be many different things, but I thought I'd ask if anyone has had similar problems. I've read it is common on start up and there's a recall for 06 or 07, but I'm wondering about the 2002's. I can make a better definition video if anyone thinks that would help diagnose the problem.
I began noticing this about 2 months ago, but it stopped after about 3 weeks. The car sat for about 3 weeks after the ticking stopped again and it returned when I replaced the starter.
I have read it can be the fuel injectors, valves, lifters, exhaust manifold gasket, timing belt/ belt pulley/worn belt and various other camshaft related items. I am fairly certain this is a top end noise that gets louder toward the driver side front of the motor. What's everyone think?

No one else has had an issue with ticking on these?
