I absolutely wouldn't expect the computers to fit, completely different cars. In any event, you need to rule out EVERYTHING else first, as the likelihood of the computer going bad is the least.

Ok well from people I've been talking to telling them the way its acting apparently everything from the new sensor back is working correctly. My next move is to change the flange plate, the spacer between the 2 crank sprockets. From what Im being told maybe it got bent when the belt broke and if its off then the sensor wont pick up the signal. I hope this works.

in my 1997 sonata i found two of the cylinders not firing and the codes point to the crank sensor ...but the power transistor unit receives the signal from the sensor and fires the two separate coils...so to cut the long story short i replaced the power transistor unit and walllaaa...
