Valve Clearance Inspection, Canister, O2 Sensor
My 2006 2.4L Sonata GLS is coming up on 50K and I need to do some routine maintenance and inspections. I plan to let the dealer change the automatic transaxle fluid and I'll do the engine coolant. Is the valve clearance inspection really necessary at 60K if the vehicle is running smooth and starting easily? How much should I expect to pay a dealer for a valve inspection? If I am not experiencing any Check Engine light issues, is it still suggested to change the canister and oxygen sensors? Are those also best left to the dealer?
Thanks for any advice.
