where is fuse for 2005 hyundai sonata cruise control
#4
There is no power to the cruise control button (it will not light up when pressed). There are also some interior lights on the radio and stick shift that are out. My thought was a fuse, but I cannot find one. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much!! I think this is exactly what I need! The diagram in the car did not have all this detail and some of it was in Korean. Looks like it is #18 Cruise control/Instrument cluster since they are both not working. I'll let you know how I made out!!

I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata and the light comes on for the button on the side but the cruise contol will not engage and the dash light wont come on. The owners manual has NOTHING in it about a fuse for the cruise control and the inside of the fuse box under the hood doesnt list any of the fuses as being involved with it either. I have seen other forums say a tail/marker/turn bulb out will effect it and have checked and rechecked all of them to be certain none are out. It was recently at the dealership to have repairs done involving the lines from the gas flap thru to the tank (It was nearly impossible to put gas in the car-- like 35min to get half a tank in it) I have traveled out of town and discovered once on the highway that it wouldnt work and will be going back in a few days and hoping to have an answer before going back so my foot and leg are not cramped.

For the slow fill problem, read this: https://www.hyundaiforum.com/forum/g...iagnosis-5971/
For the cruise, maybe the stop lamp switch is bad. That controls the cruise as well as the brake lights.

The slow fill problem has been repaired. It became totally imossible to put gas in the car. The charcoal canister and other things between the fill hole and the tank had collapsed and come apart so it all had to be taken apart and replaced. $$ OUCH $$.
With the fuse if the stop lamp switch wasnt working wouldnt I have lights out? I have checked and none of the lights are out and they all work properly. (tail, brake, turn, hazard, marker, and headlights are all fine)
Supposed to leave in the morning for a 1100 mile drive home and no cruise again is going to suck.
