I have an 01 tibb wit 55,000 on it. last week i was going getting redy to go up a hill so i down shiffted to take off and my car jsut died and i havent been able to get it going. all the fues are good. the fuel pump seems to be ok. but i dont think iam getting power to it. whats goign on ?

 

You'll have to get it checked out. It's probably an electronic ignition problem like the crank position sensor.

 

Agree with NovaResource. My local Hyundai mechanic said that when a Hyundai just randomly dies, the Crank Position Sensor is usually what causes it. Also, make sure your SNSR fuse under the hood is good; if it blows all the sensors don't work and the car won't run.
