I have a 2001 tibby I had raised the rear end to change the strut assemly's and the car had sat for about two weeks raised so I decided to start it and let it run ! No problem! I then turned ignition off and removed key! finnished the struts, then lowered it down! I get in to start it turn the key, no ignition!!! So I look and see that the dash lights all act normal but i do not get any buzzers or warnings ! Even the key in ignition warning wasn't working! I have had the starter tested that is good all fuses are good switched out the relay it is good I have fully charged the battery and still I cannot figure this out

 

ok I think I must have tripped the anti theft detterent!! the radio won't work also Can anyone tell me how to reset this???2001 tiburon

 

While sitting in the car, lock doors with remote, hit panic button to set off the alarm, insert key and start the car.
The alarm will turn off when the car starts.
Same thing happened to a friends Sonata. He towed it to the Dealer and that is what they did.
