I went to take the wheels off today to look at the brakes and fix a squealing left front brake (cowl was bent and rubbing...). I barely got the lug nuts off - the mechanic who changed my tires used a really big impact to put them on. My little 1/2" couldn't budge them. I needed a 3' extension on the tire wrench. Anyway, took the lugs off but the wheel still wouldn't budge. I don't know if I have ever taken the wheels off before - warranty is now over so I have to get back to the DIY stage... I tried all 4 wheels and same thing. What gives?

take off all 5 lugs, then kick the tire(not the rim but the rubber tire) very hard, try kicking it as low as you can , that should level it and it will come off

 

Thanks, got it. Had to really whack it with a rubber mallet.
