Default First Time Engine Swapper in need of help

This is my very first engine swap for any car. The current engine is busted and just need to get a dependable car going for a family member (Not build a rocket)

2003 Tiburon I-4

I will be ordering engine/trans soon and the description is as follows: Gas Engine, Complete Unit
2.0, Without-CVVT, Automatic Transmission, FWD, RIV-RG

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

How do I find out if the current setup has "CVVT". Will my replacement engine necessarily need to have the variable valve timing?

Do engines typically come with the computer? Will I need special pullers/wrenches?

I do have an engine hoist and basic sockets,end-wrenches,etc. Also am pretty good with a wrench. (Just never did a complete swap before)

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Default 'Check Engine' light but NO ODB2 codes.

2003, 2.0L, Auto Trans, about 100K mi on a replacement engine.

The 'Check Engine' dash light comes on but when I hook up the ODBII scanner there are no codes being thrown.

I did replace the engine/trans myself and everything else is fine and I don't see any loose wires/connections nor loose vacuum lines and I've gone over it with a fine tooth comb.

Any ideas appreciated.
