I was just wondering if someone could help i have a new a/c belt and a new pulley but when i try to install the new belt on the tensioner the tensioner barley moves and it squeals i think i have it set-up the wrong way does anyone have a diagram of how the metal caps are suppose to be on the pulley .

I want to say it should be in the owners manual the way the belt goes on..

also, remove your front right tire, and remove the splash guard. Makes things much easier.

 

It goes around the crank and the compressor clutch, with the idler to the outside so that it pushes the belt in toward the center.
