Hey all. New here and looking at getting a Tib.
My current car is getting a bit old, so Im looking at getting a 2004-2006 Tib, with the 2.7 V6, 6 spd manual.
Can you please tell me the good and bad points about this type of car? Mechanical, electrical, fuel consumption etc...
I will be leaving it stock, as I cant be bothered medssing around with it. Well, 'cept for CAI or something simple and easy. If I want to go fast, Ill take the 455ci V8 for a spin. THis is just a no fuss every day driver.
I really like the looks of them, and they are really nice to drive, and there are some low km models getting about within my price range.
The 3 little gauges on the lower part of the dash, one is Volts, the other is fuel consumption, whats the other one? Newton meters? Whats that one all about?
Thanks all.

Early (2003) Tiburons had clutch problems but 2004-up were better. I got and average of 24+ MPG out of mine with as high as 28-30.
The 3-gauges are only available in the top SE model, the base and GT did not have them from the factory. Aside from the voltmeter they are a waste. The fuel consumption gaugeis nothing but a vacuum gauge and the Newton meter is supposed to measure engine torque (and it's not very accurate). Save you money and find a GT with a 6-speed.
