I have a 2003 Tiburon GT with 6 speed. I replaced the stock clutch and dual mass flywheel with a Gripforce F1 Stage 2 clutch and solid mass flywheel (http://gripforce.com/store/index.php...roducts_id=184). I have also replace the clutch slave and master cylinders and bled the lines numerous time. My problem is that the clutch does not fully disengage when I press on the pedal and I cannot shift into gear with the car running. If I start the car with it already in gear and keep the clutch pedal pressed, the car will travel very slowly under its own power.

Has anyone else run into this problem or something similar?

Please help.

 

Are you sure you got the shift forks properly engaged into the release bearing when you reassembled the trans to the motor? You were supposed to put the release bearing on the output shaft with the forks engaged, and when you drew the trans up to the flywheel, the release bearing is supposed to snap the snap ring into the pressure plate.

 

Boy, you paid a lot of money for that clutch. Hopefully it will be worth it in the end, but I don't supposed it's all that good. I got a stock Valeo OEM clutch for $75 myself. I suppose it was worth getting rid of the dual mass crapola, lots of problems with those if you don't ***** foot it.
