Anyone who drives the new tucson late 08/09, do you have problems with the intelligent 4 wheel drive system jumping slightly when you start it up? We have this with our brand new 4/4 and when i contacted the garage they eventually told me this is part of the cars drive system. This is so annoying to have it jumping on start up or reverse, so i would like to know if anyone else has this problem.

 

So you're saying it has automatic 4wd, and it kicks in as soon as you drive the car? That's a problem alright. I'd take it to the dealer and tell them it has harsh downshift, ie it's like "hitting the brakes" when you slow down. They are supposed to reset the adaptive learning control module, maybe that could help. Also, explain about the 4wd problem too.

 

I'm not understanding the problem. Can you describe a little more?
